Barong And Kris Dance
Barong dance which is also known as Barong and Kris dance is a mixed of Balinese traditional dance, drama and music. The most beautiful woman dance such as Legong Keraton is also presented in other dress attire as the opening or introduction of the dance. Usually by 2 girls followed by Balinese traditional music called Gong. Most Barong dance performance taking the theme of the performance from Mahabharata Epic, especially the period of Nakula and Sahadewa.
Celuk Village, Silver Smith
Celuk Village Bali located approximately 5 km southwest of the Sukawati District, is also Bali’s major centre for goldsmiths and silversmiths, The main road of Jalan Raya Celuk is lined up with galleries and workshops. The gold and silver items crafted here are of high quality and feature unique and elaborate designs as the craftsmen are known for their skills. Along way of Celuk Village about 2 km, we will find in the left and right side the various type of gold and silver shop which are opened to the domestic and international tourist.
Kemenuh Village Wood Carving
Kemenuh village is just 10 minutes from Ubud, the village holds potential for tourism, especially the beautiful natural scenery breathtaking. In this village there is a path made tracking down the field, in addition to an unspoiled village atmosphere adds to the appeal of this village. On the edge of this Petanu village clear flowing river water and endless. Along the way there are many art village shop which sells various shaped wooden sculptures of animals such as birds, cats, chickens, giraffes and others that are very similar to the original.
Goa Gajah, Elephant Cave
Elephant Cave or better known as Goa Gajah is the name of a place with the archeological heritage in form of a cave ornamented by the beautiful relief on the outside wall of cave. This place is formerly as a park, a place of retreat for Shiva Priest and Buddhist monks. Goa Gajah is located in the west side of Bedulu Village, Blahbatuh District and Gianyar Regency which is about 27 km from Denpasar City.
Penelokan Kintamani Mount Batur Volcano
Kintamani is the most favorite tourist destinations in Bali with the active volcano of mount Batur and beautiful lake. Kintamani is surrounded by the captivating nature and there are six ancient villages around cauldron of Batur Lake which is often conceived by Bali Age Village. The local people from these Bali Age villages own the unique cultures, houses and life style. Kintamani Area is consisted of some Villages those are Kedisan Village , Buahan, Abang, Trunyan, Songan, South Batur, Middle Batur, North Batur, Sukawana and Kintamani Village . The total of resident in these area are about 15 thousand who are mostly working as farmer, merchant, or work at industrial tourism.
Ceking Rice Terrace
Tegalalang Rice Terrace or Ceking Rice Terrace is one of the more popular rice terrace to visit in Bali. The rice terrace is designed very beautiful with exquisite hollowing rice field and precisely located on the hill bank. In this place, you will see the Balinese farmer do their rice field in oblique area complete with its system irrigation. You will enjoy the beautiful panorama of valley with rice terrace and coconut trees ornament it. Tegalalang Rice Terrace or Ceking Rice Terrace is one of the tourist icon in Ubud Bali and many visited by tourists everyday.
Ubud Monkey Forest
Ubud Monkey Forest is located at Padangtegal Village, center of Ubud, is one of Bali’s several grey long-tailed macaque-inhabited forests, and perhaps the best known among the rest due to its community-based management, location and ease of access. Also known as the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal, and by its official designation as Mandala Wisata Wenara Wana, Ubud Monkey Forest is a place of scientific research as well as a site of spiritual and cultural aspects with temples sanctified by the local villagers deep within its grounds.
Ubud a town in central Bali is the artistic heart of Bali. It is famous as an arts and crafts hub, with the town and nearby villages brimming with artists’ workshops and galleries. Central Ubud has three main streets: Jl Raya Ubud, Jl Monkey Forest and Jl Hanoman. The town sprawls for several kilometres in all directions, with all of the small villages within a five km radius of the central market being loosely referred to as “Ubud”. If you choose a reasonably central place to stay, it is easy enough to get around on foot.
